At the end of the day, we are accountable for ourselves
When you start taking accountability for your actions, you start to have control over your own life. Holding yourself accountable doesn’t always come easy, it means showing up and accomplishing things you said you would. I can remember times in my life when I didn’t accomplish tasks that people relied on me for. I can remember feeling embarrassed, ashamed, and disappointed in myself. However, if it weren’t for those bad times, you wouldn’t learn from them. I believe accountability is being someone you can trust and rely on.
